Welcome to the 16th edition of our #BuildinPublic newsletter. April felt like a high speed train, we made a lot of progress and hit multiple milestones. 🚀
In April, we welcomed more community partners and officially launched our community partnership program in Beta. Collectively these communities connect with over 100,000 members globally.
WORK
✅ We launched our V1 engage feature which allows our communities to connect and engage from within the app 🔥
✅ We launched our new fast payments feature where talent can get paid as quick as 3 hours from submitting an invoice 🎉
✅ Met with inspirational community leaders Mark Masters (YATM), Peter Gardner (eCom Collab Club), Adam Walker (The Foundry)
FREE
✅ We welcomed Angie (VAIA) and Alena (Fractionals.io) as community partners to build their private talent marketplaces.
✅ We attended the YATM creator day and rubbed shoulders with top freelancers and business owners in home town Poole.
✅ We welcomed 100 freelancers to our beta programme supporting with us with feedback and UX before our public launch on June 13.

LIFE
✅ We had our founder meet up in Menton on the Cote D'Azur watching tennis and spending quality time together as a team (+ families)
✅ We worked from the UK, Prague, France. We're still waiting from some 🌞 in the UK to work from the van......
✅ We loved our meet up with Julia, David and Josh in London at Sushi Samba. This was our first in-person community advisory meet up :)
What's in store for May
✅ Work: Our Beta moves to the UX testing phase with community member interviews. We're developing richer features to help community leaders grow, engage and monetise. Plus, we're gearing up to onboard an enterprise client and new network partners. 🚀
✅ Free: We will make all community freelancers feel at home, they'll test our new engage feature and fast payments. The KOOS.io team have invited us to Tallin to run a round a table with CEO Taavi Kotka discussing our unique community growth model. 🇪🇪
✅ Life: In May, we link our founder meet up with our trip to Tallin. Jonnie and Amy will complete a 100km Jurassic challenge along the beautiful Dorset coast (watch out for those updates). 🏃🏼♂️
In Summary: April was fast-paced, and May is jam packed with features, exciting meetings and events.
